Parents

Hello parents!  In addition to sending letters home with your children, I will also post them on our website for you to access.  In this section, you will find links to our weekly classroom newsletter, any letters that I send home, or any other helpful information that I run across.  Thank you so much for everything you do!

Classroom News for June:

  • Please send your child with water if the weather is hot.  Our room gets quite warm, and water helps keep us cool.
  • June 4th is our assembly.  Please try to wear orange to support our anti-bullying theme.

  • June 13th is our last day of school.  You child may bring a towel, board game, and bagged lunch for our classroom picnic.  Please make sure you do not pack any products containing shellfish, as we have a classroom allergy.
  • Enjoy your summer!!!

The National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has created a short summary of the Common Core State Standards for what students should be learning at each grade in mathematics and English Language Arts/Literacy. The Guide is available in English (click here)  and Spanish (click here).  The guides not only tell you what your child will be learning in the classroom, but also what you can do at home to support your child's learning.
